Words: there’s no denying they’re useful but they can be very confusing…

I’ve been thinking about Liveline.

I’ve been thinking about the people who called to say they found Normal People “disgusting.”

Of course, the majority didn’t. They found it gusting. Well, why not?

If it can be disgusting, surely it can also be gusting.

It’s a bit like people who are disingenuous, you know, the sly crafty kind. The ones who say one thing and do another.

Why aren’t their opposite numbers ever described as ingenuous? I’ve never heard it used.

And if I, fairly, deal with people from different ethnic groups, am I being criminatory?

Well, if I don’t I’m being discriminatory. And dissatisfaction and satisfaction are opposites so why not discriminatory and criminatory?

Or, for that matter, distinguishable and tinguishable. Why aren’t they the same as disrespectfully and respectfully?

Anyway, I’m looking for two things right now.

One is a plomb. I thought it would be good to do things with a plomb.

But then I discovered a plomb is “any inert material inserted into a body cavity for therapeutic purposes.”

So why is it so great do something with any inert material inserted into a body cavity for therapeutic purposes?

And there’s another one.

Where can I get a tuit.

I want to get a tuit and a round one if there is such a thing.

Because everything is possible if I can source such a thing.
